i was just thinking about a time when someone said to me "if there were no internet photo sharing sites like facebook, photobucket and blog sites, do you think people like us would take less pictures?" i think that i wouldn't have taken has many a few years ago. i was young, lame and narrow minded and only wanted pictures for bebo/facebook/myspace, but now, a few years on, i think i would still take loads of pictures. my parents are always getting out the photos of when they were my age and when they first met and went out partying and stuff, and i want to be able to do the same when i'm older. if i don't take any pictures, how am i going to remember my friends if i move away or just grow old and forget? i have so many pictures on my laptop that havent seen the likes of facebook, but have been blu-tac'd to my wall. i don't know where i would be without my camera, not in a vein way, just for memory or sentimental sakes. without a camera, i would have never seen the awesome picture that is my dad and uncle dressed as waynes world for new years.
