understandably, some people find buskers annoying. personally, i think they're great. my brother came across this man called mr. woodnote who does jazz, hip-hop, rap music and it works really well. i don't think much of the people who are obviously only doing it to get a bit of cash and have near to no talent- but people who make you stop and listen are worth while. a man in exeter sits outside marks and spencer and plays the didjeridoo- if he had a cd i would buy it without question, i love his music. whether they get to play in big stadiums or will settle for the street pavement, it makes no different to how 'great' they are. if blur weren't recognised and busked for some recognision, i would still think they were great.

Always been interested in busking, and people's attitudes towards it, but the law is so unclear on where and when you can busk, It puts me off the idea. Only been once or twice, and made a good amount of money each time (Around £30 for 2 hours) But people still have this put-down attitude that is killing the buskerfolk. Also, I have the Mr Woodnote CD. It is rather tasty.
