The Smith Westerns

maybe not to everyone's taste, but The Smith Westerns certainly appeal to me. They are different and have catchy songs. Having 'distorted' vocals seem to make you concentrate more on the music which i think its a clever move. The music i suppose is hard to explain, strong drums and guitar with lots of clashing cymbols. i'm so bad at describing stuff you'll have to check it out for yourself. they are currently on a US tour and have an album out but i can't seem to find it i'll just have to look harder. Wierdly, they sound like a cross between a laid back vampire weekend's debut and the clash's london calling album? perhaps it's just me.
