Do you find that you associate different songs with different people or memories? Whenever a band comes on the music channel or whatever, if it's one of my mates favourites i will automatically think of them. I think it's quite wierd how quick the reaction is. My friend Beth loves Foals, I think of her when they come on the music channel. Or my friend Izzy loves Robots in Disguise and i think of her when i see them, or think of Patch when Two Door Cinema Club pop up. I have yet to associate a song with a horrifically band memory, such as a funeral because i've never been to one and dont particually want to attend one. I was just thinking about it all because i now associate Justin Beiber - Baby with Beths house because we had it on repeat last night. I hate Justin Beiber so much but that song is catchy. We kinda got a bit drunk and partied around a fair bit and now whenever i hear that song i'm just going to think of last night. And Kate Nash - Foundations i think of the geography trip to Dartmoor when me and Beth were singing it in an indian accent and it was hillarious. Her accent is very convincing. My friend Hannah associates 3OH!3 with me passing out, which isn't so great but life goes on. I just think it's strange how quickly our minds go 'ooo that happened when this song was on. think of that moment', it's almost instant. I think about these things so much, i really need to move on and do something constructuve. haha. What do you associate songs with? good or bad memories?
