___________________________________________

looking back on it, 2009 was a pretty good year for me. my friends and i seemed to click more than usual and i did a lot of different things. i got closer to my family and i appreciate things a lot more than what i did before. 2009 has been such an eye opener and i can live 2010 with an open mind and taking into account what i've learnt from this year. 2010 should be a breeze, full of fun and one to remember. wave bye bye to the 'noughties' and wave hello to 'enter new decade name here'

(below:) i had tonnes of times to remember with my best friend charli. i think this is probably my favourite ever picture of me and a friend; it shows what we're like and plus, i love her to bits.

(below:) i met these crazy kids called matt and will through charli. matt went to my primary school but now all three go a different secondary to me so i hardly ever see them. i think i met matt in january.

(below:) i went to see some amazing gigs with some amazing people. i saw local band paper heroes twice, late of the pier with micachu and connan mockasin, comedian josie long, the enemy with twisted wheel and kid british, another local thing with some pretty good bands from my town, comedian russell howard, a small festival called budstock, fightstar with prego and young guns and deaf havana, i also saw frank turner with fake problems and beans on toast. i hope to go to see lots of other gigs next year, perhaps beg my mum to let me go to london?

(below:) i made a lot of cakes. this one was for charli's 16th.

(below:) i couldn't have asked for a better summer. we laughed, we smiled, we consumed a whole lot of alcohol for numerous nights in a row, i met some new people, school was out of mind; we we're free for six weeks.

(below:) i had a lovely night out in exeter with beth and sophie. we went to nandos for a meal and then crashed out in mcdonalds for two cups of tea.

(below:) chloe's party was probably the best of the year. 'strictly no alcohol' but everyone ended up getting wasted and high. it was nice to see most of the year group getting on for a change.

(below:) my brother turned eighteen and had a really really fun party. where everyone got drunk. again.

(below:) i actually get on with my brother. i didn't know we had that much in common.

(below:) friendship rollercoaster of the year? amy bennett and emily ellett. i love her though, we're just like an old married couple.

(below:) the maer was put to good use by everyone this year- even though now its covered in alcohol cans and bottles, used bbq's and what not, it still gave us some good nights.

(below:) i've kept my sketchbook up to stratch like i said i would for year eleven and i drew a half decent person. i can't draw people or shells so i was quite chuffed.

(below:) i went to the zoo with my family and took loads of pictures. it was such an great day, i hope we go back again next year.

(below:) i saw my cousin growing up. babies grow so quickly! i just can't wait till she can talk properly.

(below:) by the end of summer i was starting to get sick of the sight of sand. the beach was in no way put to waste this summer. we used it allright.

(below:) we star gazed at midnight for ages on the sand after a fun gig, so peaceful, i could have fallen asleep. the beach lights look so pretty when it's dark.

(below:) i went to a tank museum. why not?

2009 was amazing for me <3
