i'm nearing the end of year eleven and need to think about college. i'm planning on staying in exmouth, i don't really see the point in going to exeter or moving somewhere else unless i have to. i want to go into teaching when i'm older so i want to study physcology, i feel as if i should do a core subject- i picked english language over english lit and the only thing i'm 'talented' at is art, so i'm going to keep hold of that one. i've been debating about doing philosophy and ethics too, but i'm going to have to give it more thought. although exeter campus looks much nicer than exmouth, i still want to stay on familiar ground and i know some of the teachers well too, and i'd hate to start a complete and utter fresh start; i'll be saving that experience for university...? exmouth college are hoping to buy a new building for the sixth formers in the centre of town, i think they might not get it, but students are putting up a fight so i'm still staying optimistic. quite a few of my friends are on about going to exeter, but I don't think any where near as many as them will actually go. i allready know that i'm losing one of my friends to south devon college that is about an hours (just over maybe?) train journey because she's moving away. i was well gutted when i found out. it's not like its abroad or anything, but still.
