matt groening once said
'a good cartoon is recognisable from a silhouette'.
i can't stop thinking this over and over-complicating it for myself. i mean, you could take these words literally and think of marge simpson or even bugs bunny, or you could think of it metaphorically and apply it it people's personalities. if you did think of it how i've been thinking about it and apply it to personalities i suppose it would be along the lines of 'if someone told you something someone said, you could tell who said it if they were a memorable character'. that's a bit long winded but thats what i've been thinking about lately.
comedians have their own style. like you could tell noel fieldings style from stephan frys. thats what i mean about the personality.
i don't know, i think i've just had too much spare time on my hands and have nothing else to think about. i just think i've gone into it a bit much.
what people say can be interperated in so many different ways that it's likely most people will think something different to what you wanted them to think. i suppose half the time thats how arguments are started. i guess a simple sentance can be viewed or seen in so many different ways that it could be something as simple as matt groenings words that inspire a whole new thing.
just think of some famous quotes that we may have got 'wrong'. take song lyrics or poems for example, everybody relates to songs in different ways or on different levels. i suppose it's just how different people think.
